All you need to do is Try 1 Thing! Whether you’re brand-new to the internet, or you want a bit of help making more out of being online, Get Online Week is here to help you take the next step. We are proud to announce that Get Online Week is back in Ipswich. Our digital superheroes are busy setting up events to help people get online and use technology. Those browsing at the AgeUK shop in Ipswich Town Centre will have an opportunity to speak to one of Lxpert's volunteering local IT experts about any computer, Internet or technology-related issues they might have - from getting advice, through learning digital skills, to technical support. It is a free, fun and interactive course to demystify the Internet. Suitable for absolute beginners and technophobes friendly. The course will be led by a friendly and professional computer trainer from Lxpert. Spaces are limited. Please book your place at the library enquiry desk on the ground floor or call 01473 927 260.
All attendees are invited to join the follow up Internet fundamentals courses (4 weeks, 4 sessions) where you will learn about email, finding information online, Internet security & safety, social media and the Cloud.

The Ipswich County Library is launching a monthly digital skills workshop on the first Thursday of every month, starting from November 2018. Come and learn to use the Internet and your devices with a local computer expert and fellow attendees in a casual and friendly learning environment. A different theme every month covering a popular or hot topic. There will be a short informative talk at the beginning of each session followed by an expert led Q&A and workshop. Suitable for absolute beginners and intermediates. Teas and biscuits will be provided.
Due to popular demand, the Ipswich County Library is offering the well received computer course again this year. Two new topics social media and the cloud are added to the course. The course is offered in partnerhip with Lxpert. The courses will be held at Enterprise + Innovation Hub, 2nd Floor, Ipswich County Library, Northgate St, Ipswich IP1 3DE. Spaces are limited. Please book your place at the library enquiry desk on the ground floor or call 01473 927 260.
Cost: £20 for the four sessions.
