Happy Birthday to Lxpert

Lxpert was launched a year ago, on the 29^th August 2014, with the goal to help people (anywhere) get the most from technology and enrich people's lives. Today we celebrate its 1^st birthday. We will also take the opportunity to reflect on our progress and look ahead.

On the day the platform was launched, we had 1 expert, 2 users, no revenue, no partnership and pretty much no one heard about us.

Today, we have:

• a great team :)
• 12 top quality experts from around the world with 20+ more in the pipeline
• 100+ users
• a good flow of revenue
• launched free computer advice service in partnership with AgeUK Suffolk as part of our ongoing CSR programme
• brand awareness that has been created via press release coverage, social media, tweets and partnerships etc...
• entered and successfully graduated from the London Business School Business Incubator
• won the Deloitte Founder Award
• launched the Lxpert Challenge
• an up-to-date platform (Release 3.10.3)
• and many many more!

Looking ahead, we will:

• continue expanding our network of IT experts
• promote our services to more parts of the country
• grow our partnership with AgeUK, so that more parts of the UK can benefit from our free computer advice service
• work with social organisations to create new programmes and opportunities e.g. beginner and master computer classes for the elderly people
• many more (to-be-added)!

Most importantly, to all our team members, customers, experts, friends & family, London Business School community, Startup Leadership Programme community, business partners and everyone who are interested and cares about what we do, thank you very much for all your support in the past year. We couldn't do it without you! We look forward to helping more people with their IT enquiries. We continue doing our part to drive digital inclusion.
