Lxpert has been upgraded! We have recently released version 4 of the Lxpert platform. We have included some new features such as expert endorsement, newsletter subscription and new expert profile look with extra information. We have also updated our website to provide our customers more information on what we can help them with. Last but not least, we are very pleased to introduce our new member, the Lxpert Little Messenger, whose job is to keep you posted with your appointments, reviews, events and many more.

In this article, I would like to highlight the challenges that we are facing with driving digital inclusion, why it is important and how we might be able to address it.

Here is a summary of what I learnt about SEOs, Google Tag Manager(GTM) and Google Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) from Matt Anderson (Montage Communications) and Sean Clark at the Suffolk Internet Marketing Specialists event organised by Sam Parnell and Max Shelley (Measure Brilliance) on 27 October 2015.

Yesterday we have reached our first milestone for our free computer advice service in partnership with AgeUK Suffolk. To-date, we have delivered 10 free sessions; helped 21 customers and raised £41 for AgeUK. Moreover, all the customers found the service extremely useful. They would use the service again and would recommend it to others.

Lxpert was launched a year ago with the goal to help people (anywhere) get the most from technology and enrich people's lives. Today we celebrate its 1^st birthday. We will also take the opportunity to reflect on our progress and look ahead.

Windows 10 has a very useful special shortcut menu for system admins or people who love tinkering with Windows. It is surprisingly easy to access. All you need to do is to right click on the "Start button"!

Recently I came across a situation where my old Windows 7 laptop failed to run Windows Update. It kept telling me "Windows Update cannot currently check for updates because the service is not running. You may need to restart you computer". I checked the basics, googled for some answers and tried many solutions including Windows Update Diagnostic (Fixit), but none worked. Here is something that did.

For those who are cautious about security and privacy, here are some tips and tricks that you might be interested to know when installing and using Windows 10.

Our first free computer advice session at AgeUK went really well. We received a lot of positive feedback and we are looking forward to the next session tomorrow.
